My students have a wide variety of sensory needs. I am requesting alternative seating such as stools and Zenergy balls as well as balance cushions for their stools and chairs. I am also requesting a weighted vest for my classroom. With these items, I will be able to complete the sensory classroom I have been working on where students have options for seating that will meet their sensory needs as well as items that help them learn to cope with those needs. When my students have their sensory needs met, they will better be able to focus and ultimately learn.
