My students are a creative group and I would love to be able to help expand their opportunities to use technology. My students are not allowed to use their cell phones in school, and trying to record a moving skit is very tough on a computer. This GoPro would allow my students to recording in areas where their computers cannot go and get different shots.
The ability to use technology is a skill that my students will need in the future and by receiving and using this GoPro, I am introducing another skill that they can use in the future. I also travel with my students and this would be a great way to safely record some of the fun adventures that we take. Many of my students do not have the opportunity to travel, so by taking videos I can show them a part of the world that they may never see. This would be a great educational tool as I try to expand my students' outlook on the world.
As the speech coach, this GoPro would also allow me to record our practices so I can show the students what we need to improve in order to do our best at contest. There are so many great ways that this GoPro would be used in and outside of my classroom.
