My students will love to have a listening center so they can "read" books by themselves. Most of them are only able to read books with three-letter words and they long to be able to read the "big" books like I read to them. With this listening center, they will be able to explore fiction and non-fiction books with their peers. They love to hear me read aloud, so they will enjoy being able to hear a read-aloud and also have a book to follow along with. I can't wait to see how excited they are when we get to add this to our literacy centers!
