Flexible seating allows students to make choices. When students make choices they feel empowered. Making choices about their learning teaches them to take responsibility for their learning. My students already enjoy working on the carpet, under tables, and at different tables in the room. Keeping my students comfortable in these spaces would enhance their learning even further. My students are much more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. The products I have selected will give my students additional seating options and more comfortable spaces to work and learn. The wobble stools will allow students to wiggle while they work to help them concentrate. The bouncy balls will allow students to get out some extra energy while learning. The comfy floor seats will give help make students comfortable while sitting on the floor. I have seen how choice can positively impact student's learning and attentiveness. I hope that these additional seating options will help my students grow their mind even more!
