The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of commitment, responsibility, and hard work, as well as build a foundation of coordination and running skills. For many of our students sports are an outlet that teaches many life skills while they get to have fun at the same time. Running promotes personal health, and hopefully our students will develop habits of training and exercise that they can take with them throughout the rest of their lives. We have no track at the school for our students to practice on. We have to thus come up with different activities and ways to train and engage the students in bettering their running skills. The agility ladder, banana hurdlers, and agility cones will all help the team create meaningful practices in the school gym or on the athletic field. Water bottles and drink mix will help the students stay hydrated while practicing on the athletic field or at away meets. This equipment will meet the needs of many students who truly enjoy movement at a young age.
