I teach Kindergarten and can have up to 30 students. My Kindergarteners are awesome little sponges which absorb any and all information. They enjoy exploring the environment whether through books, learning stations, or hands-on activities. Unfortunately, the majority of them come from impoverished homes which struggle to provide basic needs. My primary School is a Title 1 School which provides services to approximately 500 students. Research shows that children learn better when basic needs are met. Forturnately, BPS receives a grant which provides 100% of the students free breakfast each and every morning. In addition, 100% of the students recieve free lunch.
