Students returning to in person instruction need encouragement and support to become socially reconnected to their peers. Time in isolation has taken a toll on the mental health of many students, especially those with learning disabilities. At our school we aim to educate the whole person. The time tested activity of ping pong will help students reconnect with their peers. Their bodies and minds will be engaged, social bonds formed, and a sense of belonging deepened. It will provide a break at times to help some students relax and refocus.
