My class is a preschool special class serving students aged 3 and 4 years of age. These students have a diagnosed disability and receiving early intervention to help them develop skills in areas that they are not with their same-aged peers. Students come to us from varying backgrounds from all over the district. Some students come to school having to learn English as a second language and develop skills to socialize. Many children need practice with fine motor skills, play skills, speech and language and adjust to school routines.
