Students have a ton of changes going on currently during these years; physically, socially, and mental-emotionally. Every person learns differently, at different rates, and come from different backgrounds. Not all students have mastered how to learn, get organized, and be respectful. Having some options of learning spaces and tangible items will help my students to stay focused and produce their best work. This is something that I strive to provide for them. The stress balls will help the students have some tactile movements without disrupting the learning process or other students. The option of seats will help those students who have difficulties sitting and provide some some movement opportunities for them without bringing negative attention in the classroom. With your generous donation, you are helping students with ADD, ADHD, and other learning delays "fit in" and learn with the rest of the group. You will help build their self-esteem, self-confidence, and their enjoyment for learning. Allowing students to have fidgets (stress relief) items and flexible seating will help students in the process of growing, creating, exploring, and learning.
