My learners are energetic, curious, and compassionate. Each learner has personalized learning goals and a deep commitment to improving the world around them. Our projects are collaborative, so creating flexible seating arrangements in our classroom is a must. My learners already sprawl out on the floor with throw pillows I have brought in, but have not collected enough for everyone. I have observed incredible focus and engagement when learners self select their projects, seating, materials. I would love to give more choices including bean bags and Hokki stools.
