My classroom is a very active learning environment for my 23 firsties! I am always using the latest research to make my classroom as welcoming and engaging as I can for my students. My project will help me implement alternative seating in my classroom. Alternative seating will allow my students to have differentiated seating to help meet their needs. I have discovered that children are more engaged in their learning if they have an active role in making choices within the classroom. I want to make my classroom a place where my students are eager to come to each day and feel that they are self motivated to strive to do their first grade BEST!
