I strive to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for my students. Having a CD player in the room will help to enhance this atmosphere. I want them to feel like they are at home in my classroom! The music will be used in a variety of ways - as background music to calm the room and help the students to focus, to inspire their actions in creating, and to connect the feelings and emotions of music to art. When my students are comfortable and relaxed, they are more confident in trying new things and expressing their personalities and ideas through their artwork.
