We need a license for the Can Do! sight words game to develop basic sight word awareness while learning how to utilize technology in a STEM setting. This software will help English language learners acquire basic sight word awareness while learning how to utilize technology. Next year, Billingsville will become a STEM magnet school, and it is crucial that the English language learners in my classroom be given equitable access to technology in order to prepare them for success in a 21st century learning environment. This project will make a huge difference in my students' ability to access content information from grade level texts in English while simultaneously giving them the opportunity to become proficient users of educational software. My students would be thrilled to be able to use this program.
