In a world where team centered problem solving is an important skill, tables in our classrooms will contribute to an environment where students can comfortably collaborate. Many of our students prefer to sit at the one available table in the classroom to work together, so we need more tables to accommodate this preference. One size fits all desks with uneven surfaces are not comfortable for many of our students, some of whom are over six feet tall. Tables provide proximity (with ample personal space) to ensure focused, accessible collaboration in Reading and Writing Please help us prepare the next generation for cooperative problem solving.
