All of our students love storytime, but often struggle when they are given independent time. I have more books than shelves in which to make options accessible to them. The sensory and self-regulation materials would enhance a sensory and calm down area I have already created with bean bags, pillows, and a weighted blanket. The other materials would just simply enhance their ability to self-regulate, calm and focus on progressing further with their coping strategies and readiness to learn. They are so eager, but need our help to get them there! Thank you for your consideration.
