Franklin Elementary serves a very diverse population of students. We are a Title 1 school and 93% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of my students come from poverty or traumatic living situations and many others are English Language Learners who come to Omaha fleeing violence in their home country. Even facing these daily struggles my students come to school each day with a smile on their faces. For many school is their only safe place and I strive to make their school day the best it can possibly be each and every day. Sadly though as much as I would like to do, I can't possibly get all the resources I would like to have in my classroom! This is where your donation helps. Thanks in advance for considering my students when making a donation.
