In my classroom, we incorporate a lot of technology and hands-on learning. Right now I have a piece of plywood serving as my bulletin board, so calendar time is difficult. A bulletin board would help teach my kids in many ways because they will be able to manipulate the calendar with ease. My kids are amazing and love to learn new things. I am in deep need of a magnetic white board to use during instruction, hands-on learning, and centers. We would use a white board for word work, math, and science activities we do in centers. Right now we have a white board that is not magnetic, so it makes it hard to show my kids what they are supposed to be doing by posting examples like my fellow colleagues.
