As our students begin their first year of switching classes, we want them to be as independent as possible. We are wanting to give each student a pencil pouch full of supplies at the beginning of the year. They will be required to keep all of their things in the pouch and keep up with them all week. At the end of the week, we will give awards to the kids who have all of their supplies still in their pouch! We are a Title 1 school, therefore we do not want our families having to pay more than $15 for school supplies. We put the absolute necessities on the supply list, and are hoping to get help from outside sources for the rest of the items on the wish list. In purchasing these pencil pouches, you will be helping students learn responsibility, which will benefit them later on.
