My students are located in urban Illinois and take public transportation from all over the city to attend school. Some travel for 2 hours just to be able to experience learning in our wonderful school environment. My school thrives to impose well rounded, college ready students who have gained the knowledge and skills to be successful in any post secondary path. We are increasing our STEM opportunities by increasing the number of offered STEM electives and with this comes higher finding needs. They want to learn and my school wants to be able to provide them a real world view of STEM careers and teach them the skills to perform well.
