Over the course of the pandemic, we have lost connection with everyone and everything! I refuse to lose connection with my students. Consistency and their well being are my top priority. During remote learning, it's the connection that builds trust and relationships between teachers and students to be successful! My students would greatly benefit from remote learning if I was able to present my lessons with a MacBook Pro that had sound and video capabilities, along with AirPods, to record clear video messages, without background noise, and lessons for them. It also has been a challenge to create visuals, share my screen, silence background noise, and navigate to different files and sites as I am teaching. My students also need my lessons to be vivid, enticing, and clearly visible to them so they can be successful learners. Just as a doctor needs his tools to operate, I need my tool, a computer, to be remotely successful as I educate my students.
