The students in my classroom are always striving for greatness in their educational journeys. Throughout our day, the students are using the chromebooks available as much as possible. Since our school does not have enough resources to support the advancement of technology, we need your help! With your help, we can have the opportunity to have individualized learning within the classroom! The students will use the chromebooks for Literacy, Math, STEM projects, and our enrichment period PACE (Providing Academic Challenges and Enrichment). Having 1:1 access to chromebooks, students will be able to improve their reading comprehension through an online resource, Newsela. This online resource allows students to read informational texts at their reading level. These texts also give them background on current events happening around the world. Students love being able to choose their own articles and using Newsela on a daily basis. With additional chromebooks, students will have equal access to utilize this wonderful resource. These chromebooks will also allow students individual access to master their math facts. Through Reflex Math, an online resource, students can master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Student love solving basic math facts and earning coins to purchase different accessories for their avatars. My students are always asking to go on Reflex and it would be helpful to have equal access to allow the students to go on everyday at the same time! Help me to create a classroom environment where we can conquer education through the evolving technological advancements of the 21st century!
