These materials will allow my students a comfortable area to read. They will be able to comfortably sit and relax while they engage in reading. Currently they have nothing comfortable to sit on. The students will be able to grab a pillow, sit on the carpet, or use a Wobble chair in order to slip away into a book that opens their mind and strengthens their phonics, word blends and overall level of literacy. My students are encouraged to read many times throughout the day. They will read for work and for finishing assignments early. Reading is very exciting to children and opens their minds to endless possibility. Students who develop strong reading aptitude develop into well rounded scholars.
