The materials that I requested allow me to help students organize and make learning unforgettable. When learning new terms and concepts I often use foldables. They are tangible learning tools that create memorable pictures, phrases and long-lasting visuals that aid them in learning. The binders I requested enable students to organize their agendas on a daily basis and recall important concepts. We use crayons, coloring pencils and marker to enhance the learning in the classroom. I found that the use of these materials encourages my students to spend time on following specific directions given to them. As they are working on weekly projects and assignments it creates memories that they associate with concepts. When I use project based learning students are taking pride in following rubrics and are actually able to express what they have learned during an exercise. The use of coloring and visuals allow students to organize their thinking based on specifically designed projects.
