I am a third grade teacher at an inner city school in Illinois. The school is located in a high crime area. Most of the students come from low-income families. Despite the environment of the community, one of my goals is to provide learning activities that keep the students engaged in the educational process. The students face many personal and social problems, however it is truly amazing how eager they are to learn. They are always eager to explore new challenges and learning activities. Our class motto is "We learn All day, Everyday."
