Engaging my students in a science lesson is one of the most rewarding things a teacher can do. In my classroom we explore many topics in life and physical science and earth science. My interactive whiteboard will allow my students the opportunity to engage in exciting science lessons to enhance their learning of the science curriculum. Students use the projector to share presentations that they create on their own. Students have also made videos on various science topics. My class is also able to participate in my lesson by displaying their work through a document camera, which also needs to to be hooked up to the projector. I also have many students with special needs. Visual and Auditory lesson are key to their understanding. Watching a clip of a Volcano erupting helps students visualize the science rather then just talking about it. These are just a few of the many ways the projector will help my students in my science class. It is a great tool that I'm hoping will be funded. Please help my students get the best education that they deserve.
