I'd like to read Carol Dweck, Ph.D.'s Mindset: The New Psychology of Success with my AVID students. Teaching young people to be reflective and introspective about their thinking and attitude is an invaluable lesson that offers how to be successful not only in school, but in work, sports, the arts, and almost every other area of human development. Bill Gates wrote of the book, "Dweck illuminates how our beliefs about our capabilities exert tremendous influence on how we learn and which paths we take in life." I'd like to offer that to my students. So that's it - all I need are the books. I'll take it from there. I'd like them to have their own copy to write, annotate, and engage in. I'll provide the activities and discussion opportunities. So I need 31 of them. Can you help?
