I want to start a book club after school for students who stay after for extra support. I will also use some of these books in my guided reading groups. This will allow students to practice their reading skills. It also allows for deeper level thinking. I want to be able to put a book in every student's hands. I want to provide my students with multi copies of chapter books so I can supervise book clubs within my classroom as well as an after-school club. I am also requesting single copies of fiction and nonfiction books that align with the 4th grade curriculum. The reason I chose the bean bag chairs is to provide a comfortable spot to read. Good literature is important in any school. It can take a child places that they have never been before. It increases vocabulary and comprehension which is essential for good readers. If you help with these project you will change lives. Be a game changer!
