I teach in a low-income/high poverty school district. Many of my students come to school without having their basic needs met. We help students and families get coats and gloves for the winter, and students receive free breakfast, a healthy snack, and lunch. Our school district can only go so far with its funds, so I spend a lot of my own money for things we need in our classroom. My students are loving, caring, and they deserve the best!

About my class
