One area my students struggle with is staying on task. They are often distracted during independent work and may take frequent breaks to walk around. I have already bought a few flexible seating options to increase engagement, like wobble stools and seat disks. The implementation of these two seating options have helped my students complete their work and stay focused throughout the day. Standing desks would be a great addition to our classroom. The students already love to stand when they are working, but the desks are not the appropriate height so they are leaning over. Through the donation of standing desks, my students will be able to use the fidget bar to get the wiggles out, if necessary, and work in a setting that is most comfortable to them.
