Think about your school aged years. Where did you do your work in the classroom? What did you sit on? You probably sat on a chair at a desk. Now think about how you do your work as an adult. Do you sit on a chair at a desk all the time? We all have our comfort levels that allows us to focus and work better. Just think if you could travel back in time and choose how you worked in school. Would it be the same? You can not travel back in time, but you can help these students have choice in their learning experience. These children will be able to walk into my classroom and decide for themselves what works best. They may want to lay down to read a book, but sit on a stool at a table to complete a math project. The possibilities will be endless.
