Many of my scholars do not read outside of my classroom. Now is the time to encourage them to do so. They will be reading for the rest of their lives. My hope is Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing book will create a curiosity beyond our four walls. We will read this book and then complete an art project of the main character displaying his character traits. Reading and studying a class set of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing will improve their reading and vocabulary use. It is important they are exposed to a variety of reading materials. It is equally important we have our own resources at the scholars' disposal.
