My goal is to provide hands-on learning experiences that encourage my students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and team players. I have an Osmo Kit that I have personally bought, but I need more iPads to accommodate my 26 students. Osmo is an interactive, hands on learning tool that will be used with my students during partner learning stations. The osmo has different manipulative that students can use for reading, STEAM and some apps that are just for fun! I love the Osmo Kits because they are very engaging for students. My students were completely virtual for Kindergarten, so now in first grade we have a lot to learn but we also need to make it fun! The students think they are playing a game, but because of the materials, they are also participating in hands-on learning. Also, Osmo provides an opportunity for students to work together instead of other technology that can be isolating.
