Hi there, I am a first-year teacher in a behavior-first type of classroom. I work with middle school students who's ages vary from 10-13. Disabilities range from: ADHD, ODD, Bi-polar, Emotional Disturbance, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a very challenging position I hold, but I can honestly say I absolutely love it. I never wake up in the morning and think "I don't want to go to work." I feel like I am contributing to my community by working with these students. I can see the difference I have made in my students lives already. I have the patience and have a spot in my heart for all of these students. I get a lot of support from my staff and administration, however, there are some things that I need to pay out of pocket. I'm hoping to give my wallet some relief and reach out to kind folks like all of you. Thank you for stopping by, and thank you for your support.
