I am a teacher of K-6 Music classes at a school that just opened this year, which has about 400 students. Over the next two years, my school will be growing to include grades K-8. I see my classes every other day and my class sizes range between 20-40 students. Many of these kids have never had the opportunity to play instruments at their previous schools. Now that they've tried a few, they cannot get enough of playing instruments! We are currently in a small room and we have access to a few types of instruments that either the school has purchased or I have bought. My students are very creative and love to compose, and they love to jump in and become makers of music, experimenting with sound. These students have a deep love for school and for learning, and they enter my class daily ready to play and to build a great reputation for their new, growing school.
