We need two Chromebooks to put technology in their hands to make learning fun while researching information. My Project will enable students use these Chromebooks to research information for group projects. Using technology to look up information helps the students to functionally use reading to gather current and accurate information while still having FUN! Having Chromebooks in the classroom will also make differentiation of instruction easier by pre-selecting websites for each group of learners. I can work with each group at their own level and have them researching on websites that are appropriate for their learning needs. I will also use these to formatively assess the students by connecting to interactive websites. This will allow me the opportunity to see their learning progress immediately and be able to reteach if there are gaps or misconceptions.
