My students need activities to practice and focus on letter sounds and phoneme combinations to strengthen their reading skills during guided reading groups and during center time. My students will use these materials to explore their ability through manipulating picture cards to match the sounds, making and reading words! These activities will be used during Daily 5 or throughout the day during our ELA block. They will be able to use these manipulatives independently or with a partner to work collaboratively to strengthen their reading skills. Your generous donation to our project will improve our classroom by building a stronger reader and writer. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel successful as a reader --- and having fun while learning!
