I am a teacher just starting with a new school in a rural area. When entering my class, most students have no idea what physics is about and do not enjoy science. Each year I have a goal to inspire their curiosity and make them more scientifically literate. One way to do this that has worked for me in the past is to study novels while simultaneously working through the curriculum. Some of the novels I would love for my students to read are "The Martian", "A Brief History of Time", and "Welcome to the Universe". I would be purchasing a class set (30) of as many as I could. Thank you for helping to get young minds to like science again!
