I love this crew! I have a class of 24 students who are learning the value of hard work and perseverance. We have a large range of ability levels, but the great thing about this group is that they all accept each other right where they are. They work well in groups and enjoy each others company. The pride themselves on being a very inclusive group. They work the best when the activities are hands on and concrete. They love to create and bring humor to their school work. We are concentrating on quality of craftsmanship and all the steps it takes to get there. This brings out opportunities for perseverance to be worked on, as they evaluate their work and identify areas where they need to redo, or revise. They are a joy to teach and I hope they will take on strong leader roles as they continue on in life.
