We will use the table so we can easily work together in small groups. Currently my students only have independent desks which does not help foster a comfortable learning environment for my struggling learners. This table will allow my students to have a more effective collaborative work space. Giving students the opportunity to work in a close circle among their peers helps them to build communication skills. Additionally, students are able to build their critical thinking skills as they generate their own ideas, discuss them with peers, and receive feedback. With students working at small group tables, rather than desks, the classroom environment becomes more conducive to student-led learning.
