I would like a set of ¿Qué Tal? magazines for my classroom. Students would practice their Spanish reading skills, while learning about popular Hispanic culture. Students could learn extra vocabulary and become familiar with the written structure of the language. Students would respond to the articles with writing prompts. Students will use the Scholastic magazine materials to practice Spanish reading comprehension and writing skills. There is an interactive website included with the subscription which would extend the practice to home. I teach a variety of learners from first time Spanish students to native speakers and I think this magazine would have something of interest for all students.
