My first and second grade students have been using Seesaw within our classroom and beyond. Seesaw is a digital portfolio that allows students to draw, write, record their voices and videos and many more. The app also allows for a great deal of parental involvement. Parents and family members can view all of their students work that is posted to the app and creates a great way for family communication. Recording booths will help my students to clearly record their reading, thinking and ideas for all areas of their education, especially the areas of STEAM integration! These recording booths will be light-weight, portable and easy to use for these young students. Students will get the feel that they are in a real-life recording studio. By using this app students can add elements to their digital portfolio from any classroom. Previously we have used our iPads in every subject area from Math to Writing to Art to Robotics. Students are able to showcase their learning and to help us visualize their ideas! It a world that is moving beyond simple pen and paper, our students are being prepared for real world events. Thank you for helping.
