An annual subscription to Study.com will give me access to learning guides and content my students need to be successful in our US History class. Because the system is digital, I am able to assign specific readings to students. I can also differentiate instruction by assigning different readings to different students based on their individual needs, something that isn’t always possible with a single textbook in the classroom. With the move towards remote learning, students who struggle with reading do not always have access to the support they need to understand the textbook. With a Study.com lesson, a video and transcript is available to aid student understanding of the history content. Today’s students often prefer an audio book over a paper copy, so having that option available for our history textbook helps target the individual learning styles of students.
