I co-teach in a Special Education classroom. We see a wide array of disabilities but the majority of our population are students with Autism. Our classroom is play based and we do our very best to expose them to as many academic concepts as we can. We teach skills ranging from social and emotional to cognition. We have a 2 groups that come to us each day for about 3 hours. Our total number of students can reach up to 30 total morning and afternoon. We provide them with a very structured environment while still exposing them to as much of the curriculum as possible.
