Having headphones for our streams would give the students the opportunity to use a variety of individualized programs effectively. During groups they love using math programs, but cannot hear the directions and the sound from the computers disrupts other learners. Headphones would really help the students get the most from these programs and allow them to fully immerse themselves in what they are doing. It is very easy to get distracted when other students are doing different things. I truly believe headphones could help their focus and eliminate some of the confusion when using these programs. Not only would they benefit us in math, but science and social studies as well.
