I have currently switched grade levels this year. Previously I was a Kindergarten teacher. Now I am teaching 5th grade. Computers in our classroom were removed because they were extremely out of date, and consistently didn't work. I constantly had to call the technology department for help. Now we were given chromebooks to share amongst 3, 5th grade classrooms. Which gives each classroom 10 chromebooks. I would love for my students to have access to more chromebooks. We could eliminate a lot of paper use! They would be able to do interactive lessons with me that are more engaging based on their generation. These chromebooks could be used across the curriculum/in every subject area. It also would allow us to do more projects as a class to support the common core. This goes for our other two 5th grade classrooms. It would be nice to have more technology that we can share between classes as well.
