November 6, 2019 Students will have an opportunity to visit the State Capitol. This field trip will expose students to the General Assembly process and give students an opportunity to meet with a representative for a brief question and answer session. The experience will enhance students' understanding of the day to day political process. This excursion will awaken their interest in the political process and encourage them to become civic-minded. Students will also visit the NC Museum of Science and History. The tour will provide a hands on experience for students to gain a better understanding of the contributions NC has made on the growth and development of the United States of America. We will also tour the Living Arts College in Raleigh. This college offers programs in VFX and animation, interior design, audio, professional photography, film making, and graphic design. Students will have a question and answer session with current students. tour the Living Arts College in Raleigh.
