I am fortunate enough to have a decent sized classroom. However, due to budget constraints I do not have many places beyond desks that students can learn. I really want to "teach around the room" but my students have no place to sit unless they drag their chairs around or just sit on the hard floor. We need a rug to have more options than just their seat to sit at! Having space that students feel more comfortable in, would optimize their learning. I have a class that really needs to be able to move around and feel comfortable. They thrive in that kind of environment! This rug would really help drive success! The great thing about this project, is students can use this for years and years to come! It will not just affect my current class, it will affect all of them!
