This new carpet will enhance the spirit of community in our classroom. My students will always know that we have a welcome spot where we can share and solve any concerns that we have in our daily Morning Meeting. Students need to know their voices are heard in our welcome safe spot. Third grade is an excellent year for students to learn to voice concerns and share ideas in a positive manor. This carpet would provide our class the very location for such positive experiences to occur. This carpet would afford my students the opportunity to move to a different location other than the desks for language arts and other subjects as well. This place would be our warm, welcome spot.
