Kindergarten and preschool students are full of energy! They are constantly moving, and traditional chairs and tables do not always facilitate learning. In my classroom, I want to allow "kids to be kids" while also creating an environment conducive to learning by all students. My classroom has a few options for flexible seating already, and they are amazing! My students LOVE them! Wobble chairs and ball seats enable my students to move and work- without distracting their peers! Allowing all students to have the option of using flexible seating will improve behavior and learning while encouraging my students to be themselves.
