We are a middle school of 490 lively, savvy, easily frustrated students. We need to engage them quickly in each task with which they are faced. Every year each student must submit a science fair project. After the initial panic, students begin their research for one of the best learning experiences they can have in school. Even in this day and age many of our children do not have regular access to technology. Four hundred and fifty of our 490 students are bused each day. Sixty seven percent of our students are on free and reduced lunch. Even accessing the public library is a problem. This library desperately needs to provide more technology for these students. We are requesting three iPads to help these kids get excited about research - to think research is cool, and to get started on formulation and designing projects. We really hope you can help.
